VPA Message from the Chair: March 2025

As we embark on a new production year amidst an uncertain landscape, your ongoing support of the VPA is invaluable. We welcome your feedback as a member, whether you have questions, ideas, or concerns about our work. The Board is committed to developing new programs and initiatives to support the industry, and we look forward to sharing these updates with you throughout the year. We hope you will encourage your colleagues to join the VPA or attend our events to see the value we create for the Post Community.

 We appreciate your trust in us to represent your interests on industry issues. We will continue to lobby for the post sector in government dialog regarding application of the BC tax incentives, potential new trade issues, or other new challenges and opportunities.

 We also want to welcome new Board member Rich Walters, who was recently appointed to fill a vacancy on the Board. Rich brings a wealth of industry experience and impressive sound credentials to our active Board. Thanks to our former Directors Jason King and Andras Toth, who stepped back from their Board commitments. This issue of our newsletter announces this year’s Annual General Meeting in April, including information on how you can contribute to the Board and grow our community.
