RECENT PAST EVENTS

205 people. One patio. Countless conversations.

On June 1, we had the pleasure of welcoming over 200 members of Vancouver’s post-production community to another sold-out VPA Summer BBQ at Craft Beer Market in English Bay.

From reconnecting with colleagues and making new connections to enjoying great food, drinks, and one of the best waterfront views in the city, it was a fantastic way to kick off the summer together.

We’re also proud to share that, thanks to your generosity, we raised $1,500 for the BC Cancer Foundation through our raffle fundraiser! Congratulations to our raffle winners, and a huge thank you to our generous prize donors: Western Imperial, Line 21, and Oddfellows.

Events like this wouldn’t be possible without the support of our volunteers, sponsors, dedicated VPA team, and, most importantly, our incredible members. Thank you for celebrating with us, for supporting one another, and for being part of the Vancouver Post Alliance community. We can’t wait to do it again next year!

This event is for VES and VPA Members only. VPA members, please use the promo code
(emailed April 10th) at checkout for a free ticket to the event!

Little House on the Prairie
Streaming Now on Netflix

After more than four decades, the classic, much-beloved show Little House on the Prairie is returning to TV. While the bones of the show are the same — a family leaving home and migrating for more opportunity, facing the harsh landscape and what that brings with it — this Netflix Original Series adaptation, which premiered on July 9, is more aligned with the book version.

The series is aiming to align more closely with American pioneer Laura Ingall Wilder's semi-autobiographical novels, which follow the Ingall family's early years on the Osage Nation Reservation from 1869 to 1871.

]Filmed in Manitoba and finished in Vancouver, this project has many Vancouver crew members to congratulate!
