VPA Message from the Chair: July 2025

I have been thinking a lot about the value of community lately, specifically our community. Its strength and compassion have been on full display over the past few months. We came together to celebrate great accomplishments, such as the huge number of VPA members nominated (and winning) at this year’s Leos. We also gathered to remember and honour our dear colleague, Todd Giroux. 

This community continues to grow, and I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and officially welcome the VPA’s newest corporate sponsors Copilot Film, Alter Ego Post, RAW Camera Company, and Flow Postproduction.

Not only does their financial support allow the VPA to continue and expand our programming, but their insight and industry experience make us all richer as an organization.
