| About Me | Louis Sterling (b. England, 1997) is a BBC-supported music producer and re-recording mixer with 10 years of experience in music, film, and radio. A mentee of Oscar-winning re-recording mixers Chris Burdon (Top Gun), Nick Roberts (Mission: Impossible) and Ron Bartlett (Dune) at Warner Bros.’ De Lane Lea, Louis moved from the UK to Vancouver in March 2026 to bring his passion for sound to Hollywood North.
A member of the Vancouver Post Alliance, Louis’s journey began as a chorister at Bath Abbey and grew into a career defined by creative agility and a meticulous approach to mixing. His background in music composition, including his critically acclaimed debut album Adisceda, praised as “Outstanding” by Rough Trade Records, gives him a “composer’s ear” in mixing, enabling him to craft detailed stems, balance intricate layers, and maintain the director’s narrative intent.
Following the success of his recent work on BOUND (dir. Abigail Feavers), which was selected for the Cannes Indie Shorts Awards in November 2024, Louis continues to collaborate with the local post-production community to deliver immersive, cinematic re-recording mixes that shape soundscapes and bring stories to life. |
