| About Me | Matt Drake is a Canadian sound designer, re-recording mixer, and post-production supervisor based in Vancouver, Canada. With a diverse background in film, he has developed a reputation as a vital force in the independent film community. A three-time Canadian Screen Award nominee, Matt co-founded Elemental Post in 2020, which has quickly established itself as an integral hub for filmmakers seeking high-quality post-production services.His recent work includes The Wedding Banquet, starring Bowen Yang and Lily Gladstone, Love Me, starring Kristen Stewart and Steven Yeun, which premiered at Sundance in 2025 and 2024 respectively, and A Nice Indian Boy, featuring Karan Soni and Jonathan Groff, which debuted at SXSW. Matt’s portfolio also includes notable past films like Riceboy Sleeps, which won the TIFF Platform Prize in 2022, showcasing his talent for creating compelling auditory experiences.Matt has contributed to a range of acclaimed projects that have screened at prestigious festivals, including Cannes, Berlin, Sundance, and TIFF.
