| About Me | With over a decade of experience in the Vancouver film industry, David Tomiak specializes in color grading for feature films and documentaries. As one of the founders of Elemental Post, established in 2020, he co-created one of Vancouver’s only dedicated Color and Sound Post Facilities, providing a filmmaker first studio where clients can go to finish their films. David collaborates closely with directors and DPs ensuring that every frame achieves its desired aesthetic and emotional impact. He is known for his work on Riceboy Sleeps, Platform Award Winner at TIFF, and more recently on A24’s film Eternity and Director’s Fortnight film “Lucky Lu”. He has also collaborated with FlyOver Canada, contributing to the stunning visuals of FlyOver Vancouver, Iceland, Vegas, and Chicago. His films have been shown at festivals around the world including Cannes, Sundance, TIFF, SXSW, Berlin, VIFF, and Telluride. |
