| About Me | Chinese-Canadian editor & filmmaker with over 6-7 years of experience in editorial ranging from documentaries, scripted live-action, to animation and VFX. As a 1st Assistant Editor, Cindy has worked on documentaries such as I AM JOHNNY CASH, as well as television series such as HIT THE ROAD (S1), LOUNDERMILK (S3), and DAY OF THE DEAD (s1). Most recently, she has edited a web series, SHADOW OF THE ROUGAROU, for APTN’s Lumi Channel, produced and edited an independent stand-up comedy series COMEDY INVASION, and is currently editing a scripted indie feature film JONAH. As a filmmaker, she has recently directed and edited two short music documentaries produced by Elimin8hate and Vancouver Asian Film Festival: ASIAN PERSUASION ALL STARS and MISS CANTONESE, where both documentaries strive to showcase and represent Asian-Canadian musicians in Vancouver. Outside of work, Cindy also volunteers on the Diversity & Inclusion committee here at VPA. |
