VPA members Caleb Chan and Brian Chan have received 3 nominations!
The awards ceremony will take place October 26 in Toronto
The list of nominations for the 2023 Canadian Screen Music Awards (CASMAs), presented by the Screen Composers Guild of Canada, has been released and we are proud to see that VPA members Caleb Chan and Brian Chan have received three nominations for their incredible work:
Best Original Score, Animated Series or Special
‘Pinecone & Pony’
Best Original Score, Dramatic Series or Special
‘Panhandle’
Best Original Main Title Theme Music
‘Builder Brothers Dream Factory’
The CASMAs (now in their 2nd year) aim to honour composers for their outstanding work in media and screen-based industries and are the first to be juried and awarded by fellow composers in Canada. The winners will be announced on October 26th.
