The Vancouver Post Alliance is proud to be a Community Partner of the The Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television’s Women In Post program.
Presented by Netflix, this nationally run program provides higher-level industry access and professional development for emerging to mid-level women-identifying and non-binary creatives working in all areas of post production. Programming includes strategic learning modules, creative and technical skills building, and hands-on mentorship at a post production company and/or shadowing a post production-related role.
Through this partnership, the Vancouver Post Alliance is committed to helping connect BC-based participants to the community here in the Greater Vancouver Area, offering access to guest speakers, as well as consulting on mentorship, internship and application decisions. West coast participants will also receive a free one-year membership to the VPA to help kickstart their networking opportunities.
The VPA believes that when supporting initiatives like the Women in Post program, we are investing actively in the growth and diversity of our post production industry. With this partnership, we look forward to being part of the effort to reach gender parity and ensure greater representation in the industry!
